Note: All registration information and statistics will automatically be transferred over to the latest install. However, if you do choose to update via a full reinstall, you will have to reselect your game settings and customizations again.

To automatically update from in-game (recommended):

• The quickest and easiest way to get the latest release at anytime is to use the in-game autopatcher available under the game's File menu. Select 'Check for newer release' and press OK to begin the download and automatic update of your game.
  

To manually update using downloaded patch:

• You must already have a full version of Championship Chess Pro installed on your computer.
• Download the Chess Patch and double-click to begin installation.

    Note: Championship Chess Pro must not be running in the background. Make sure to exit the game before you begin.

• Follow the prompts until installation is finished.
• Restart Championship Chess Pro. The game should now reflect the update in the title bar.

To manually update by full-install:

• Download the newest version of Install-Chess-To-Windows.zip to your desktop PC.
• Your download will start automatically. If you get the following message box prompting you to Save this file to Disk, save the file to your Desktop without renaming the file.

  

If you're having problems downloading:

• If the file did not finish downloading, try the above steps again.
• If you are an Internet Explorer user, trying clearing your cache, as the page may not be redownloading as it should. To do this: From the Tools menu, choose Internet Options. From this page, click on Delete Files to clear any previously downloaded 'cached' files.
• Try one of our mirror sites, as our site my be busy while you're trying to download.

  
  

• If you cannot complete the download or have an intermittent Internet connection, consider getting a free download restart utility like those offered by http://gozilla.com, http://reget.com, or http://getright.com.
